Summer Vacation

The cows got to head back to Peach House Farm for an early summer vacation this year. Stephen at Peach House had a very nice stand of forage almost shoulder high waiting for them. For some of the cows, it was their second trip there and seemed like home. Setup and takedown of the temporary fencing, water, and minerals was certainly a lot quicker this time. Stephanie and Tim did most of the work and were done in half a day.

The cows are back home now, but If you happen to be near Toccoa on a Friday afternoon, stop by Peach House and pick up some of their flowers, honey, or eggs.

Some cows in the tall grass. You can see where they mowed the previous paddock.

A nice view of Currahee Mountain from the bottoms. Cows in the distance.

The elusive barn cat makes an appearance back at the farm. Max zoom required.

A fantastic aerial shot from Keith Kleinert.

Some guy in a dirty shirt picking up the cows.
